HT

Novel Diagnostics

Detection that is quick and sensitive, designed from the start to leave the central laboratory.

Novel Diagnostics
Overview

What HT is for.

HT focuses on multi-pathogen detection, where one sample answers several questions at once, and on metabolic indicators that inform clinical decisions.

Speed and sensitivity pull in opposite directions. The work is finding assay formats that keep both, then making them simple enough to run outside a specialist lab.

Capabilities

Core capabilities.

Rapid pathogen identification

Multiplexed detection that names several organisms in one run.

High-sensitivity assays

Assay design aimed at low limits of detection, with specificity tested against close relatives.

Point-of-care integration

Simplified sample handling and read-out so tests can be run near the patient.

Stages

How a programme runs.

Define

Target panel, sample type and performance goals.

Develop

Assay chemistry and reagent formulation.

Verify

Sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility.

Transfer

Package for the intended setting.

Typical applications

  • Multi-pathogen panels for infectious disease
  • Organoid-based diagnostic models
  • Metabolic marker assays
  • Assay development for partners

Where to find HT

As a service

Questions

About HT.

Are the assays clinically validated?

They are in development. Clinical validation and regulatory clearance follow performance verification.

Can you build an assay for our target?

Yes, within the platform's formats. We scope feasibility first, then develop.

Deliverables

Fit

Is HT the right platform?

A good fit

  • You want to test for several targets in one sample
  • You are developing an assay and need laboratory capacity
  • You value verified performance before any clinical step

Not the right fit

  • You need a cleared test for patients today
  • You want a finished instrument
  • You need clinical trial sample processing
Honest performance

Performance first, claims later.

An assay is described by what it measured, in which samples, against which criteria. We report limits as clearly as strengths.

That honesty is what lets a partner decide whether a test is ready for the next, more expensive step.

Questions

More about HT.

Which samples can you work with?

Sample types are agreed per project, and feasibility is tested before design begins.

Do you build instruments?

No. The platform develops assays and reagents.

Where it fits

Where HT sits in a programme.

HT usually closes the loop. It provides the assays that show whether a cell product, a vesicle preparation or a formulation does what was intended, and it develops detection for its own sake.

Because the platforms share a laboratory, HT results flow straight back to the teams that need them.
