Regenerative & Synthetic Biology
Stem cell biology, liposomal delivery and biocosmetic formulation developed as one pipeline.

What HNOVA is for.
Bioactives only help if they arrive intact. HNOVA joins the payload, which is often stem cell derived, with the delivery layer, a liposome or lipid nanoparticle, and with the formulation that makes it usable.
Developing the three together shortens the path between a promising molecule and a product that is stable on the shelf.

Denser, more stable shells tend to hold a payload for longer, and usually release it more slowly.
Core capabilities.
Stem cell derived bioactives
Secreted factors from characterised cell sources, processed into defined fractions.
Liposomal encapsulation
DNA, RNA, proteins and small molecules enclosed in lipid shells, with control over size, charge and release.
Biocosmetic innovation
Skin-focused formulations built on bioactives and natural ingredients, tested for stability and compatibility from the start.
How a programme runs.
Design
Choose payload, lipid system and target profile.
Formulate
Prepare candidate formulations at small scale.
Analyse
Test stability and release.
Optimise
Iterate toward a lead ready to scale.
Typical applications
- Liposomal delivery of nucleic acids and proteins
- Bioactive-rich skincare ingredients
- Stable encapsulated actives
- Contract formulation development
About HNOVA.
Do you offer GMP-grade material?
Research grade today. GMP manufacturing is a planned build-out and we will be clear about status at every stage.
Can the platform be used for cosmetic ingredients?
Yes. Biocosmetic work follows the same formulation discipline as the therapeutic programmes.
What you receive from an HNOVA project.
Is HNOVA the right platform?
A good fit
- You have a payload that is fragile or poorly absorbed
- You need a stable formulation, not only a promising molecule
- You want skin-focused or delivery-focused formulation under one roof
Not the right fit
- You need a finished consumer product with its own regulatory file
- You want ingredient ranges off the shelf (see Lipologics)
- Your payload is a cell rather than a molecule
Formulation is designed with the payload.
We choose the carrier with the payload in mind, because a shell that suits one molecule can fail another. Stability is tested early, so weaknesses show before scale-up.
The trade-off chart above shows why: protection, release and tolerability pull against each other, and the best design depends on the use.

More about HNOVA.
Can HNOVA carry proteins and RNA?
Yes. DNA, RNA, proteins and small molecules can all be encapsulated, each with its own formulation work.
How is this different from Lipologics?
HNOVA is the platform and the development service. Lipologics is a brand that sells ingredients made on it.
Where HNOVA sits in a programme.
HNOVA often takes a payload, which may come from STEMZA or HNEV, and gives it a stable, deliverable form. It also supports skin-focused development for brands built on our platforms.
Its results feed HT when an assay is needed, and the quality function reviews formulations before they leave the laboratory.
